Special rates have been negotiated for Medicines Management 2022, the 46th SHPA National Conference delegates at a number of hotels within walking distance of the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC), the conference venue.

Available rooms at these properties can be booked online at the time of registration or separately through the online registration portal.

Booking information and conditions

Please note:

A credit card number will be required and will be passed on to the hotel to secure your booking.
Your accommodation and incidental costs must be settled direct with the hotel on departure.
Hotels may charge a surcharge on credit card payments made on departure.
Should you require dates outside of the main conference dates, please note this in your booking (under the 'special requirements' tab) and the Conference Secretariat, Kaigi Conferencing and Events, will contact the hotel on your behalf and advise.
Check in time is generally 1400 hours: if you require immediate access to your room prior to this time, it may be wise to pre-register for the evening before. If you are arriving after 1800 hours please note this accordingly.
The hotels impose strict release dates of 30 days prior to arrival and therefore any bookings made after 31 October 2022 will be subject to availability.
Cancelled bookings or failure to arrive at the hotel on the designated date of arrival (no-show) will incur penalties. See hotel terms and conditions details below before making your selection.
If you would like to pre-pay your accommodation in full, please contact Kaigi Conferencing and Events via email to SHPA@kaigi.com.au to request an invoice.
Any changes to your booking must be made via email to Kaigi Conferencing and Events – not direct with the hotel. All room rates noted are based on room only, unless otherwise specified, are in Australian Dollars and include 10% GST.
To secure these special conference rates, bookings must be made through the Conference Secretariat, Kaigi Conferencing and Events and not with the hotel.

Cancellations made between 16/11/2022 and 22/11/2022*, the following fee will apply:

*If the booking is for three (3) nights or less; one (1) night fee will be charged for each cancelled accommodation room.

*If the booking is for four (4) nights or more; two (2) nights fee will be charged for each cancelled accommodation room.

Cancellations made between 23/11/2022 and 30/11/2022**, the following fee will apply:

**100% of accommodation will be charged for each cancelled accommodation room. No Show Guests are charged 100% cancellation for each no show accommodation room.

Rydges South Bank Brisbane is located in the heart of Brisbane’s arts and entertainment precinct with plenty of things to do and only minutes away from South Bank Parklands and the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (the Conference venue). Valet Car Parking is available at Rydges South Bank at a charge of $55.00 per night, per vehicle. Buffet Breakfast is available at the Bacchus Restaurant from 6:30am - 10:30am at a charge of $35.00 per day, per guest. Guests may speak with the concierge team, upon arrival to organise parking and/or buffet breakfast.

The following cancellation policy applies for all bookings made at Rydges South Bank Brisbane:

• Over 30 days prior to arrival - no penalty

• 29-14 days prior - 20% or equivalent to one (1) night's accommodation charged (whichever is greater)

• 13-0 days prior - 100% charged

• No-show - 100% charged
